Jimmy Wulf

It is my right that I greet you with respect and beholden for the land of New Zealand and my native tongue Samoa, so Kia ora and Talofa lava.

Jimmy Wulf is  an animator and illustrator based in Auckland that specializes in concept art and 2D animation.
Japanese anime took over his childhood with their influential animated tv shows of the 90’s and 2000’s. Shows such as Dragonball Z, Naruto, and One piece made an impact in how he sees the world and inspired his journey towards animation.

Jimmy’s showreel project focuses on the animation of cultural dance inspired by his Samoan ethnicity including, Siva Samoa, Siva afi, and urban hip hop dance.

Jimmy’s goal is to animate his own anime/animated tv show for the world to see and hope to inspire his Polynesian community to tell stories in animation.

Jimmy was part of the production team for the short film trailer “The Nightmare King” which you can see in the first link below.
